steel bars

this shop near my house will cut and sell my a steel 7/8 bar for like 5 bucks, do you think its worth it or should i get an aluminum bar

i think you should get the steel bar! 5 bucks is ok for it and its way stronger!

yea it is, like all the uk riders go every time we organise a ride day.




and go with steel.

I'd go with aluminium.. I'm a bit of a weight freak --- ALTHOUGH I only weigh 5 1/2 stone, and I don't ride hard at all, so I don't really need strong bars at all, so weight is the only factor that affects me at the moment, But, if I were you, I'd go with steel..

now im not usually a weight freak at all but steel just seems rediculous but then again im pretty sure thats what rad bars are made out of i think?

my aluminium crossbar has not bent yet, the ttube always breaks first, if your not using a seatpost then steal may be overkill on your ttube.

and rad serjey, yes it is!
