Steer tube Bars?

so i was thinkin, has anyone tried buying a steer tube the height they ride and then buying a seatpost and sliding it on and clamping it?
i wanna try it and the steer tube for the one piece bar from the super moding thread should work right?i made a little model on mspaint:

it would be easier and cheaper to just use your normal steertube. but you could always try

if your getting a stear tube as tall as u want your bars mise well just weld a bar on top and you have 1 piece bars, stronger and better looking

i think it would be a good idea, but i wouldnt use ur stock steer tube and crap cuz they brake to easily and how are u gonna bolt it, in the picture the bolt is goin down like vertical shouldnt it go sideways cuz two little holes in a thick chromoly steer tube wont hurt it at all

yeahh, im not going to use the stock head tube, i was thinkin of holding the chromoly steer tube with a seat post clamp or 2 clamps from my scooters head tube.sorry if im not being specific :/

edit:the two bolts vertically are suppose to be this seatpost: http://www.danscomp.com/473052.php?cat=PARTS
and i was also going to hold the seatpost down with a bmx clamp like a stock scooters like the t tube ,but with out raising the seatpost
