It is medicine, People need to stop bitching about what god will do if we use this/that. Let people use it, if it keeps them alive or saves millions why fight it? What kind of asshole does that shit

there is no reason to disagree with stem cell research. it could be the key to the cures of many hundreds of diseases. The world is overpopulated anyway.

Come on man. Don't be so insulting. Sure, some Christians are against for certain reason and you have to respect that. I don't know where I really stand with stem cell research. But I am against abortion always.

EDIT: Wait, read the context wrong. My bad.

anyone against stem cell research should be held responsible for the deaths it could prevent.

No, anyone against stem cell research should be laughed at and called a dumbass.

Also I don't see the whole pro-life argument, something the size of a grape is clearly not a human being. Being pro-life means that you enjoy taking away other people's human rights. It's their baby, and if they don't want to have it, then they won't.
Don't like abortions? Don't get one. Don't like your rights taken away? Then don't take away other people's rights.

Abortion is a whole different thing i understand how anyone can be against that. But being against something that can cure lots of diseases and save lots of people is just ridiculous.

Figured id put this here http://www.prolife.com/
check it out! end abortion! and while doing that be sure to check out the link at the top(the pregnant, need help) and read about....ABORTION!!....da hell..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fucking failure.

I absolutely don't have to respect that and have a right to think less of a person who would rather a patch of 150 cells grown in a test tube be left alone at the expense of a living human being that can benefit from it. Anyone who thinks that patch of cells 100,000 times smaller than the brain of a fly has more of a right to live and turn into nothing than a human being that is already living and in pain is an absolute dipshit that deserves to be ridiculed to the point of depression.

Negatives: Could create the possibility of women becoming pregnant to sell stem cells which could lead to a violation of human rights by trafficking women to create more stem cells, etc, etc.

Positives: Shows promise for a "cure all" regarding cell mutation and DNA mutation.
