i watched that yesterday on the dew tour website. when they first showed all the riders with the stay strong shirts, i admit i got teary eyed. but i still want to see the crash, i'll admit that too.

ya that was fucking sad, but he still seems happy and all, i want to see what really went wrong and happened to him

he tried a double flip, and something slipped, he got the first around a little slow, then the second when completely wrong, only got it halfway round, rotation stopped, landed directly on his head and neck.
Very sad story.

I posted somewhere about this earlier in the week...its fucked up...you never think it would happen. he had such a bright future ahead of him, and he wont ever be able to ride a bike again...not cool at all..

yea steven, thats what gets to me is that he had his entire life layed out in front of him with biking, and then this happened.

edit: k that online video is the same thing as on tv but you could see the crash a little clearer on tv, he bailed like 3/4 through the first flip, like kicked the bike in front of him and thats about where it cuts out

Yeah I saw the full thing a while back, some dude filmed it from the crowd. It's probably been taken down though, I dunno where it even was. Super sad though, the dudes lucky he's alive though.

Yeah, I would rather have my dad paralyzed than dead. And in the video he said he was getting more movement back, so yeah.
