Ok, I seriously needed to post this to steven... cause it's the only way I see to keep him riding... call it a pointless thread if you want, but to me and anyone else who actually KNOWS Steven, this would mean something.

Steven, just a month ago, you seemed to be the deepest into scootering than any other rider IÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢ve talked to, every word you said could be a quote that any true rider would agree with, and now you say your losing interest? That makes no sense... you've told me countless times that you'll never quit riding and how much you tell me you love riding... so if your quitting now, than it voids everything you've said to me in the past and makes you a hypocrite... steven you can't quit.and what is your reason for wanting to....it was awesome meeting you at woodinville.and i can't believe your quiting...jeeezes.u CANNOT quit.i don't care if your baout to turn 48 your not quitting i won't let you.i'll scoot scoot to cali and slap u repeatedly until u change your mind.if that doesn't work.i'll fed ex stan to your doorstep and he'll ass rape you.u cannot quit because your one of the only ppl on the scooter scene that knows anything about anything.u are one of the most amazing riders out there.DON'T QUIT!

you can do fingerwhip to cross foot ride to dubwhip out on flat.... hey if you quite you should ateast consider anouncing scooter competitions haha

i dont know you either... from wat i hear you sound like a sick rider with nice style.. but most of all your always encouraging other guys that wanna quit, that is so helpful when your thinking about quitting .. you cant just stop!!

I am in love with this fella, from his endless love of attitude towards me and my riding along with all riders is just amazing,Specialy why I deticated a vid to him.

Point's of all views are always spot on, and have never question'd his mod powers(as i never have needed to)
Truly for this champ to even think about quiting this great sport would be a Crime against humanity!!

K, im writing this because i respect all who respect me, and would never do anyhting without letting all of you know first..


When your out there, When Your Riding, Its a feeling that you cant get anywhere else, Your untouchable...Its jes you and your scooter, and thats all you need, wether your flowing a park, or hitting a set, it never mattered...All that mattered was riding, all that matters Is Riding.

Thats an old quote i had laying around my comp that i wrote about a year and a half ago...Ive been riding long enough to know a thing or two about a thing or two...and Jesse your right about everything you said, i would be becoming a hypocrite..But something that has been eating away at me is this. (and Dustin i told you this on the phone ) In the time ive been riding ive seen the best of the best..Now im going to name some of these riders..and you all either know them or you dont, but if you dont, then consider yourself deprived of having not seen some of the best talent to ever touch a push scooter....There was Jordan Miller-first person to do a frontscooterflip on film over a whole box no less, There was Al Lampton- One of the original and most intense street riders out there, and also the reason i started catching my whips..Then there was Silas Henderson- Arguably The Best Technical rider to date...the combos your doing now, hes done..or was first to do..And of course i cant leave these people out, Andrew Brabank- Most Stylish...bar none...Mike Dies- watch his videos..they speak for themselves, Mikey Weaver..as i said about Mike, riding speaks for himself, and so many other riders along with them that ive seen throw away there talent, for other things, scuh as school sports...drugs...drugs..other extreme sports, and things along those lines...Now is there anything wrong with that..? To an extent no, it is there choice and there lives..to do what they want with. But when i saw these guys quitting, it was hard...it was like..Man? these are guys who i thought shared a love for Riding as i did..? and now there quitting..? Never the less, I Rode. And Rode..and Rode..now here it is, the sport is at its peak, and growing at a rate that alot of us cant believe or even recognize. And there are riders like Coedie Donovan, Phil Laggetie, Jesse Macaluso, Matt Andrus, Addison Mc Naughton, Matt Ogle, Matt Mc Keen, and that is jes to name a FEW...of the riders that are sitting a top this sport wether they know it or not...Sitting in the same exact seats as the riders i named before them...And i thought to myself, WHAT IF, these riders...who i LOOK UP TO...turn out like Team Northwest (Miller, Lampton, Silas) Turn out like The CSC team, and turn out like Brabank.. And i jes thought to myself...do i really wanna wait around to be there when that happens..? IF that happens..? I honestly feel like id lose faith in this Sport that brought me to meet all of you, and id honestly lose faith in every other rider out there who has spoken the words "Ill never quit" "Ill ride forever" or anything else along those lines..So with that said i thought about being the hypocrite...and eating my own words...and jes stopping before i lose the love and faith for something i think has the potential to grow to be something amazing..as its doing everyday, right before our eyes, wether we realize it or not, its happening...and YOU all are going to take it there, not jes the riders i named, ALL OF YOU...every last one of you...But im out. I look at my scooter right now as i write this, sitting in the corner of my room, and i almost feel ashamed to have it in the same room as me..It being such an amazing thing, to have introduced all of us together like it has...and now i find myself walking out on that, for the most part ive given you all a sugar coated reason on why im stopping riding...this isnt about me growing up, or getting a new job, or starting college next semester, all of that used to take the back seat to riding...hell i quit my job to go to Washington...and had the best week of my life...But thats over now. And im done...Thanks to everyone, i cant even begin to name you all, so PLEASE check your private messages, as i will be leaving MANY of them in the next week or so....SO CHECK THEM....and to Jesse...Im Sorry.. Ill end this with a quote that was forming in my head as i was writing this...

Wow. I know the feeling. I had the same with Fingerboards (How I knew Josh Toy before Scooters) And I quit becase I was sick of it. I still fingerboard every now and then and pull it out. But I still cant understand some of the things that youve said. The last quote was very true but "And i jes thought to myself...do i really wanna wait around to be there when that happens..? " I dont understand why you think like that.

In the end I guess its up to you. But I still cant comprehend it.

Ok.to start i know we will always remember u man,me saying this as if u are dying or something,or possibly u are to most of us..
I cant begin to tell u how much of a great guy u are man..i only ever knew u thogh the net, and i reliased how cool u are in typing i can not even come close to imagining what u are like as a person!!
And knowing that this very sport what we have as out passion through life, I/We all know it is getting bigger every single day,Steven and All riders are helping this sport!!
in Australia it is a very well respected and becoming a very Populated sport,this all due to people that are/were/will be dedicated to the sport we all do..

I know now that in years to come when this sport hit the X Games,The Gravity Games and all outher well know big prize compititons,and we will all be there competiting each outhers,i believe that all the names mention by Steven will come around and see what they have created..

making sure that u all know that THIS everything that u look forward to,the fact of u creating ur own world will be respected and none the less be aside the catogories of BMX,Sk8,Motocross,snowbaording the whole lot,we all know that we have created another sport for out younger genoration!!

Saying that!

Steven been great knowing u,Speaking to,Wish u all the best and never forget that u were there from basicaly the begining.helping new riders,baning smart asses and so on, so when scooters comes in the the X Games catogorie u know u have the privlidge NO RIGHT of saying "I WAS AMONG THE MANY WHO CREATED THIS"

Ehh Steven... Look at some positive aspects. Threre are some riders like Josh Toy or KC, who have been riding and supporting the sport forever. The other thing is that, well, quitting because of fearing that all the good scooter riders will quit JUST BECAUSE some good scooter riders have quit in the past seems kind of stupid to me. Riders quit in every sport, and notice the early times of scootering were actually the hardest times for a rider. Moreover, some quit, but at the same time, new talents are being developed/discovered around the world. Or maybe Ill take your statement and oppose it positively: the sport is progressing it and scootering being BIG is just a matter of time. DON'T YOU WANT TO WAIT AROUND TO BE THERE WHEN THAT HAPPENS?

And the last thing: For all those years, you have been possibly the smartest, most intelligent scooter rider Ive ever heard about, not many people even think before they post something or are too lazy to even spell correctly, punctuate, etc. Ive seriously enjoyed reading all your posts, feeling that theyre really worthy. So are you, Steven, and scootering needs such people. Do you want the sport to be taken over by thousands of notorious kid Coires? Think about it.

Ahhh...the last thing i need is for this to become harder...you guys are all awesome, but im going to lock this thread...so people can read why i stopped...but i dont want this to turn into some huge thing...Sorry...but thanks to Pete, and Phil, and everyone else...thanks guys.
