search. put a pipe in, bolt it. get it from onlinemetals.com . your going to have to sand the inside of the ttube though. if you go chromoly, get it from the sr store. if you go alluminum get it from there. i just got alluminum because the ttube will bend before the crossbar.

do exactly this^^. The outer diameter of the aluminum tube should be 7/8" and you should get the thickest wall possible (If you're wondering about barends, these fit right in: http://www.danscomp.com/365075.php?cat=PARTS) You're definately going to have to sand/file the inside of your ttube a lot until it fits: DON'T try to hammer it in, because it will get stuck, and you will have trouble getting it back out.

btw jeff, what did you use to sand down the inside of the ttube? did you use a file or some other kind of tool?

andrew said that u have to do A LOT of sanding before it fits

what i did is i just went to home depot found the right size of pipe, cut it down, and bolted it and that worked fine and is probably the easiest way

i took a drill bit, wrapped sand paper around it, taped it so itd stay and used my cordless drill.

I was thinking of sticking a file into my drill instead of a drill bit, but I couldn't find one that fit right.
But that seems like a really good idea that you have there.

but i kept yours...
yeah that works real good, and it comes pre-cut to 18" and 24", and if it has threads, you can get the endcaps for them and make some weird barends
