stop asking other people what you should do to YOUR scooter

I'm not trying to be part of all these other threads explain how they feel about people on SR and whatever, i just feel that this needs to be said:

if you look around at all these threads in the scooter section, it won't take you long to find a thread that said something like "should I raw my scs?" (not saying name because it's actually more than one) and "what color should I spray my bars?" and "should I cut my blade brake" whatever i could go on but i won't

what I'm trying to say is questions like these shouldn't be asked, because it's just like saying "I am incabable of thinking for myself, what does everyone else do?", and if people are just following and acting on other people's opinions, they won't develop a style of their own.So instead of asking/copying what everyone else does, use your head and your initiative. Also know that asking about such a thing as "color" is completely useless, because everyone will have their own different opinions, and people that favour a certain color will obviously suggest that color, same with forks, bars, headsets, wheels, basically anything.

YOUR scooter is YOUR scooter, this is why we have things like the "your scooter" thread, to see what different mods and styles/tastes people have, and for certain people it's just a way to blend in with everyone else, and this includes the whole "n00bs with an ultimate set-up" thing, it's because n00bs ask experienced riders "what bars to get" and these experiences riders will say something like SlaYer bars, and since "this kid" will want to fit in with everyone else, so he'll get SlaYers bars and then he'll hear about an SCS and he'll by one of those, and find out that people "Raw" their scs these days, so he'll do that, and he'll keep following what everyone else does until he has SlaYer bars, with proto wheel fork and TSI deck and all that shiz, in all:

what color!? Choose you favourite color God damn it! chances are that we'll never see you ride it
what wheels/forks/bars? Take recommendations but don't hear 50 people say (idk..) Wee bars and then get Wee bars to fit in

personally i stick to a certain color scheme with i haven't saw anyone else do

yeah sorry this is alot to read i am not that good at explaining stuff

The reason the noobs are asking is because they're new to the sport. They see all the pretty parts in "Your Scooter" and decide they would like a good scooter also, problem is they don't know anything about... anything, so they make a thread along the lines of 'should I get/which is better/how do I'. We give them the answers which OH WHAT A COINCIDENCE, our answers are all about Proto/Eagle/RAD/what have you! We tell them all the best solutions and parts and they go along and buy it because we haven't told them about anything else thus they don't know about anything else.

So really the reason noobs with ultimate setups exists is cause everyone else with ultimate setups didn't give them all the options.

And for comparison: Would you want to skateboard on something you bought from Walmart, or an expensive deck from a skate store?

Colourschemes. Psh who cares.

Victoria, no offence. But your what make's SR gay.
Not trying to put you down.

If everyone made a thread like, wat kind of bearing's should I get or should I paint my fork red or blue, ETC. SR would be gay. And it's starting to get like that kid's are making stupid thread's about stuff like this.

Think about it before you come on and automatically make a thread. Take a minute and think about it before you make a thread.

Kid's come on here and ask, How do I take my bar's off. Like really? Look at your scooter for a minute, and I'm sure you will figure it out. Instead of not looking or trying to take ur bars off and Just coming on here and asking.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he made this post partly because of me because eariler I made a post asking if I should raw my SCS or not but got flamed just because I couldnt make up my mind on what would look better and I was seeing what everyone elses opinion was so I didnt make my scoot look like s---. and Plus if no one ever read what the Scooters section is meant for heres a little hint "Post here if you are trouble-shooting problems with your scooter or to discuss different performance enhancing modifications like your pretty paint jobs and rocket ship bearings." Yes thats correct it says discuss modifications like paint jobs. So dont flame me for posting something that shouldnt have been posted when I posted it in the section it should have been posted in.

Edit:
Oh and btw if it hadnt been for my post of wether to get Fr I.D. bars and Forks or a TSI deck the word about TSI might have never been spread because after that post is when everyone found out what a TSI deck is. js. - What I meant from that was if I hadnt asked an "opinion" like everyone is saying that you shouldnt then a lot of people would have found out about TSI, sorry if you didnt get that part.

Not just your scooter, a lot of "WHAT SHOULD I LEARN NEXT" "WHAT TRICKS SHOULD I DO" "AM I GOOD FOR A BEGINNER, WHAT ALL DO YOU THINK I COULD DO?" "WHAT TRICKS ARE BEST"

...a lot of that too....

Yeah, thats straight up retarded.

yeah but you have to remember, its a learning experience. people ask because other's have tried it. and it's either failed horribly, failed, worked, or its the next big thing. people learn from others mistakes, sadly. but thats what you have to do. i know what you're saying though about like, kids with setups wayyy beyond their actual skill. and so i know where you're coming from

i agree with you to some degree.
from an intelligent beginners point of view, i agree that kids shouldn't ask about non-performance enhancing parts, like colors and all that. but i do believe that as long as you're not annoying about it, it should be alright to ask about parts that actually matter. it might only be me, but i feel like most beginners care a lot about more experienced riders opinions even about parts that might be able to help shape their skill to ride, so to say? i mean like most people might wanna double check before doing something dumb that would potentially ruin their scooters.
just my opinion though...
