Street contests?

I saw a lot of park competitions, but were there any street contests (not in Montreux park, but on real street spot with stairs and handrails and other objects)? That sounds like a good idea...

Those kinds of comps would need a permission from the city hall, if you want it to be an official comp. I doubt that the city hall or any other association who owns the land would give the permission to those who will fuck up ledges and handrails.

If it's an underground comp, it might work.

A real street comp would be awesome...a few years back in the X-Games they had the Skate Street on real street...but I don't think anyone would want to "have some kids who ride kick scooters have a "competition""

umm in the states they had a downtown jam when i was there they basically set up ramps that simulated street obstacles like an 11 stair handrail with ledges and walls all the pro skate companys teams were hitting it up it was crazy.

They have them for skateboarding all the time. They do demos and comps at street plazas. I bet with stoke plaza in the UK you could easily pull something small off in a section of the place because it's so fuckin huge.
