I would ride street, but I live in the middle of nowhere and can't drive so I don't get too. I think street is a ton more original and that's what I like to be. I think gaps and ledges and stuff like that is a lot more fun than most parks. I agree that stairs and stuff are boring, and handrails are gnarly, but most people do them really ugly. I think more of a bmx style street riding is cool.
Were in PA do you live? I have a house up in lake ariel... Isnt it like 15 or 30 minutes away?

And i would skate street if we had good spots around here... We most get kicked out or they fck us over and put a bar infront of a gnarly gap.. So im mostly stuck in my driveway most of the time but im fine with it.

The video clips on the street or in the city give a backdrop of intresting landscape. Plus there the factor of shitting on private property and the sort of "punk" aspect.

That's what i like when i ride some street spots. but i don't really enjoy to injure since i want to keep on riding.
Anyways what i prefer is to film something hard (especially at tech) trying many times utill it's real clean and i'm happy with it. Then come security when it's not like 10th try and it's bothering. I remember shooting a whole tape of fs wall to 36 whip on that bigbalth video because it was sketchy. I just sweated like a big pig all the time, getting thirsty, but still try something. that one was funny. !lol

Anyways for me riding street is exactly what is described by dakota roche about california on that BMX DVD INSIGHT. Breaking loads of scooters, getting kicked out, lots of try, sometimes small injuries. "still worth it !"

when i ride, i will goto my local parks for about 2-3hours then id go hit up a local primary school, works well for me
get the best of both

I got myself banned.
lol since most people ride park, that's why everyone wants to see alot more street, because the majority is park

so if the majority rode street there would be a demand for park probably haha

just wait until after DXGV.2 comes out.

Were already filming our next video with our best street riders, no park whatsoever, and going to some insane spots from LA, SD, UCR and all over.

When the DXGV.2 dvd is out, you'll see the trailer for it in the extras =)

Street Plazas FTW!
My local is a 'street park'.
Full of ledges, manny pads, rails, wallrides, and a bowl.
So i go the park, but kinda ride street at the same time.

i like them both equally =/ i usually go to my local and ride park for awhile and when im bored of it i just leave and ride around and find spots

I cant really ride street, cuz I live in the mountains, and my feet are screwed up, I prefer park..... cuz it hurts less, but I would probably love street if I lived in a city and had fine feet

this is dumb no offence.
i hate when ppl say lets go ride some street and then they go to the other side of the park. its still park.
The fun part of street is looking for it and beig creative.
but in a park its already thee so no its not street.
