Stretching Clamp

Ok so i got my buffs and stretched my clamp. I got the clamp on the bars, but the bolts wont go all the way through the clamp due to the angle so i cant even put the bolts in. How do i fix it?

You can't. That's why I got a 1 3/8" seatpost clamp.

Yea, If you do it right, they'll fit decently. However once it's stretched at the wrong angle, it's nearly impossible to fix.

that is one ugly clamp

clamp the er.....clamp with a vice or whatever (while its on buffs)and tighten it at the back part, where the bolt goes through

hopefully it shoulld restretch itself so the sides of the clamp are parallel.
