i got a thing in the mail today about being invited to travel and study in ireland, wales, england, france, belgium, and the netherlands in 2007 for 20 days. The website is www.studentambassadors.org and it says that they dont discuss cost on there. Has anyone heard of this program at all? I know my friend got to go to australia for like 20 days last year and i don't know if it was the same program as this. Anyone happen to know any of the costs for this? im assuming its way to much to bother but hey if its like a free trip ill go haha. any and all info appreciated

holy crap dude i got an invite from school and so did my sister last year. The link didn't work for me but is it People to People? She got to go to Europe for 3 weeks but i didn't go cause i didn't want to spend 3000 dollars on it. My sister completely wastes our familys money on stupid shit like takewondo and singing lessons and other music stuff.

And yeah if you go expect to pay a small fortune. The program was set up by Pres. Eisenhower i think. It was to promote international blahblahblah with youth and blahblahblah. Most of the things they do are pretty fun said my sister but they had to go to the London Parliament thingy and listen to a boring speech for 2 hours. I dunno if you really want to go than you'll have to go to meetings every week for a few hours and you do activities with other people who will be going on the trip too. So i dunno that might cut into your SR post-whoring time lol.

So i guess my final word is if you have enough money you should prolly do it. I kinda regret not going myself but oh well it was 3 weeks without my sister. If you have anymore questions i can ask my sister.

i got invited to those things every year.
i never went haha.

my sister got one last week to go to australia for 20 days.. i think she wants to go...i think i might just go and shred with phil and coedie haha

lol... ive never got one before.. and at our school you have to get nominated by a teacher to go... so only like 20 or 40 kids in the school get them (high school that is) and yeah my friend went to australia last summer and i think going to australia would basically be the coolest thing ever. I looked up going for a week and flight was 1500... and if i just stayed at james house and ate all his food thats all it would cost me! haha
