Some websites have options where you can hide all signatures, so when you're reading a thread, you can't even see anybody's signature. Maybe we should have something like that....

It's there - go on user cp, options, signatures and you can click off. That's what I've done, this thread has no meaning to me.

There should be a thread where people post their opinion , and if it's passed by mods and or us, then it is allowed, but if it's annoying and or lame and isn't passed, then you are done

What defines "stupid", what one person sees as hilarious or hipsterdelic someone else may see as ugly or useless. Making a rule such as that would only create arguments and bitchfits. Keep the .gif sigs, although if they are:

1. Offensive - Defined as: Racially insulting, Sexually insulting, Insulting personally, Instigating hatred or fighting, or Harmful to a user or nonuser.
2. Annoying- Defined as: Seizure educing, pointlessly colorful, sized too largely, or contain "troll" links (Ex. Rick Roll, Pop-Up site, or an endless loop which is inescapable without quitting the user's browser program).
3. Advertisements- Defined as: Promoting products (Scooter related or not), Promoting companies, or Promoting anything where the user has potential to gain income or install malicious software onto another's computer.
4. Large File Size- Defined as: Anything larger than ~750 mb (.75 kb). As these are unneeded and take up server space which SR/Proto is paying for.

They should be removed.

Violations:

1st offense: Warning + Signature deletion.
2nd offense: Short ban + Signature deletion.
3rd offense: 1 Week(+) ban in addition to no option to have a signature. (Admins and "Global" moderators have the option to disable this feature in their CP via VBullitin software; "Zone" moderators (Peace keepers) do not.)

under your rules, they examples i posted would be allowed. i think that practically every but the user with the stupid sig would agree that the examples are stupid.
