Suggestions for SD5/Future Large Contests

Team Competition. Best team on the day gets a trophy or something like at school carnivals.
Rider points add up to team total.

If we hadn't done jam format chances are sunlight would have been done by the time Am was done. There were at least 30 people in each division, so if every person had had two one minute long runs it would have taken three hours for runs alone. Since we had the jam session it was around an hours worth of runs with a half hour of jam session, and we still ran out of sunlight. A qualifying day would be nice, but I'm not sure if the park owners would be cool with that. And if that did happen it would take more money and effort as far as setting up all the booths. I do agree on the food/drink bit though.

or instead of diferent days put the beginers in one section of park with there own judges and pros in another section with there judges

something definatly has to change cuz getting robbed at a contest that someone payed $40 for is weeeaakkk shiiiit

have a big screen with a live feed of the runs and stuff so people can see whats happening everywhere, also have notices on it for divisions runs and so on.

I definitely agree with letting people know dates and times much before hand, so people can buy plane tickets months in advance. I think my ticket was $400 something from Chicago because I waited until I knew exactly what was going on.

Well, that park should put some lights in. I don't see why a park like that wouldn't have lights, it's definitely a profitable establishment haha.

when i was at the zumiez couch tour monster came and gave out free monsters. that was pretty sick. and local news stations and radio stations should be notified about it too.
