i think most people know that but yup you are correct. Coedie busts out some pretty good switch stuff i hear, lots of people are now

Umm? I don't think that anyone would mess up switch and fakie on a scooter, these are quite obvious for everyone (except those hard headed french people who prolly still think think that nollie = switch fakie LIKE A SKATEBOARD!!!!).

I have never heard any of the French riders say that, and calling them hard headed is hardly fair.

Sometimes you get used to calling tricks by what you always thought they were. I still call scooter fakies Pate Rides because thats what I called them back in the day

Hey I'm French and I know what's going on.

But I don't think anyone on this site messes that up, maybe n00bs or something, but I've not heard it.

People say switch in bmx aswell, I've heard people say goofy too.

i say opposite.... i hate anything to do with backside/frontside or switch... way too confusing. The only time that it might be confusing if your doign a grind on your opposite side in switch stance.. "opposite opposite feeble" but i mean you could say opposite switch feeble or something you know. My method is not foolproof but i dig.

Yeah, just like on skateboards basically, left foot forward is regular and right foot is goofy.

one other thing, a switch heelwhip is not a switch tailwhip. I know kids were calling brians switch heel rewind in whip mix switch whip rewind. and i have kids asking me if when i say "switch tailwhip" if i mean switch heelwhips or not, then i have to go on about how switch heelwhips feel like tailwhips but they arent switch tailwhips and i just get sick of it.

Yea but on bike if your right foot is forward doesnt mean you are regular, or your left foot is forward doesnt mean you are goofy.
Goofy mean, if your left foot is forward and you spin left, or your right foot is forward and you spin right. (example - ryan nyquist)

Ehh Ive had an argument on the old micro forum with Eric and Johann about it with others supporting them (you may ask Ryan Whetstone, he was right there with me, fighting by my side.. lol). Ive said 'hard headed' because even after the simpliest logical explanation they couldn't get what nollie is (being like 'ehh... Im confused, Ill have to go with what Eric says.'), so the term I used would be extremely apropriate in that case...

on bike i class opposite as doing a trick other way eg. right not left

and i call it switch footed riding with feet other way (as does everyone i know)

ok for those of you reffering to a bike, switch on a bike is having your other foot foward when you ride, opposite is when do do a trick normal footed but in the opposite direction you normally would, and goofy on a bike is a little harder to explain but ill give it a shot, e.g.: if you ride right foot foward then you should spin to your left, if you spin to your right then you spin goofy, or barspins if you spin them the same way you spin 180s/360s its considered goofy because spinning them opposite of each other is easier. all of that was terms of being on a bike so just when you mention bmx terms you use them correctly so you dont confuse everyone, thanks.
