t tube height with bars off

im goin on vacation to main and need to take my bars off my pro to fit it in the duffel bag with my gear for skateparks, cusz it won't fit in the small trunk of my aunts car. does the t tube height drop while its not connected to the forks? its my first time doing this, so don't be all like "n00b!!!!"

l0l y dont u just unbolt the foldy and bring the tools to rebolt it once u get there. im smart

cuz the pro foldy has mad amounts of locktite and i don't want to unbolt it. don't call me dumb! im in high school lol. started yesterday.

i find its easiest just to undo the 2 allen keys above the headset when traveling (if you need to take it apart at all). That way when you get where you are going, slide the bars back on and tighten it down


If you have compression system i say same thing, except you gotta take off front wheel and compression bolt.
