It is an archaism. I remember when I first joined this forum in 2003 and 'tailwhip catch' was actually a name of a trick, not the same thing as a 'tailwhip'. I remember someone saying that it was riddiculous and how, for example, when it comes to skateboarding, no one says 'kickflip catch down 7 set' because catching them is normal. Now it's finally like that, ahh, so good to see the sport progress...

My catches look ugly. I mastered them, but when I do them, I cathc it, then my scooter kinda pushes out to the side cause I don't stop it completly.
