Please dothat one guy said:how did i miss this thread. do you want me to pwn take two forks with science??? i havent rided them. but i KNOW in scientific fact that SR v2.3 and V3 are wayyyy stronger then these forks. [take2] there good for the average rider. but for the pro's.... not so much. most of you scoot ppl. dont break sr forks. most of you cant break them or take2, or inward. but frID mabe... way to thin. but idk i havent gotten mine yet.
agreed.the_SD_local said:Both of those statements are grossly inaccurate. Just because aluminum is lightly per cubic inch does not mean that forks made out of aluminum will be lighter because everything needs to be twice as thick. I would be willing to bet that those weigh just as much, if not more than SR forks if you actually put them on a gram scale. French ID forks and Razor Pro Model forks are practically the same weight and they are two different materials.AJ Iorio said:Only 1/3 weaker than chromoly, but HALF the weight.
Think about it.
With all the extra material, it's just as strong or stronger than any chromoly or steel forks, but still way lighter.
Some people say that aluminum threads will bend when you tighten your clamp.
Wrong.
The threads are kind of low profile, which makes it harder for them to bend.
As for "low profile" threads... there is no such thing. All thread pitches and and counts are standardized which means the threads are exactly the same as on a Pro Model fork... only made out of aluminum.
I personally think the forks are a good design except for the aluminum threads but you should really get your facts straight before posting that stuff.
dude you im'd me asking me how a compression system works and to show you a diagram and send you a compression system so you can see how they work.take2industries said:you think i dont know what to do? , i do , im also trying too think of differant comp. systems also, and me and my daddy are thinking of some =)

My bars were hard to get off, but the threads were still perfect.liltony said:well all you people that have one. once you tighten the clamp and ride it a while you will never be able toe take off your fork. ever. because the threads will be flat so you cant unscrew the bolt. sorry but LOL. you were warned
