between the two i would say it is a tie.... welded steel is strong then billet aluminum. in the same thickness. so i guess there equal
thats what I was gonna saythat one guy said:yeah good point, about the snapping thing.. aluninum thread can stripp really easy and expecially cause there so fine. and with threadless the heaset is better and is never f-cked up like wobling... but yeah i ride thread less/ threaded so idc.. my forks are !amazed
