taking bars off threadless headset

i cant pull my bars off my fork, is it just hard to do or do i have to take the top off my headset

unscrew ur bars from your fork and remember left loosy righty tighty

undo the clamp, then just pull them off? pinch the wheel with your feet and pull up while turning them, should be able to come off pretty easily. If the bars have been on for awhile then you might have to do more turning than pulling.

Hold the bars, and stomp the deck wile pulling the bars off......works like a charm!

if u tok ur compression off properly, stand on the deck and take them off. if u have access to a vice that would be handly, squash the wheel with the vice (if u have a good wheel u dont want to wreck put an old wheel on) and start pulling and turning like crazy!

Do you have an inward fork? If you do get a rubber mallet, that's what I had to do

i took every thing off, and yes i have an inward fork, ill go and try again
