tape lock

Me and my brother were filming a vid with myDCR-HC40 camera and when we hit record the sreen said tapen is locked see tab

u should probably unlock it...jk but maybe you should like take the tape out and put it abck in or somwething

Someone switched the lock tab on your tape. Take out the tape and look here

Its on the bottom left hand corner of the tape, theres a little piece of plastic you can slide in and out, so move that and it should work.

thanks guys i relized that my dad switched the tapes and the old one was locked so we didnt override the tape
