Hate to rain on yours but it actually works quite well. :) I've personally ridden/tested everything from aluminum, chromoly, mild steel, even brass (bent in 5 minutes)... stainless has excellent strength and our bars are really not that heavy. Weighed identical sized VNC, Inward and JJW bars, and ours are 5oz lighter.
