Ok thanks :), I can understand how everyone must be feeling about this, but the thing is what you have got to realise is that the uk scene is very very shite, like go back 2 years ago and anyone could count the amount of riders on their one hand (not literally) and it's only been recently that companies have been distributing aftermarket parts in the uk. The majority of riders now are little kids and n00bs, with only a couple of us who have had some experience beforehand :)

Whats also gotta be understood is that this is Engalnd we're talking about, not california, we dont have olympic skateparks or sunny weather all the time. we have shit loads of rain haha, and the most famous rider to come out the uk (terry) had 4 locals.

haha guys you're nearest wall will probably have a dent in it because im on Madd Gear Pro. For gods sake I'm on the same team as Terry Price, and if you clocked him back about 4 years, he'd probably still pwn the rest of the team.

and c'mon guys, this is the UK we're talking about here, British weather is awful.

We don't have sun weather everyday
We can't ride every day
We dont have an olympic skatepark as a local
We didnt have anything but stock parts until late 2008
We can't get to ride with pros frequently like you do
Razor Pro Models have NEVER been sold in the UK, we've had to use JDBug B Models. Razor is aware about all these drawbacks which is why they have been focused on promoting more here in the UK.

When you think of the UK you may think of riders like Terry Price and Martin Kimbell, well i have news for you, Terry Price has FOUR locals where he can ride, and even then he has a car so he can drive to Corby (pretty much the best skatepark in the UK) unlike most kids, who have to beg their parents to put up with the fucking two hour drive! and Martin and Terry were good mates and rode together often, as well as Martin having a good local too which is pretty big.

okay just to confirm i am NOT on Razor. Yeah they spoke to me about it for a while and even gave me an Ultra Pro and said they'd get back to me once they started a sponsoring plan in the UK, but little to my knowledge it was Dogg who was actually helping them, and by then I had made the sponsored DoggScooters Team, and then got offered to me on the MGP Team.

Razor UK team is:

Josh Roschelle Bates
Corey Wakeman
Perry Grant
Marcus Dennis
Joe McDonald
Jake Holohan
Lewis Crampton (reserve)

MaddGear Pro UK Team is:

Ben Grantham (myself)
Luke Painter
Dan Avery
Graham Kimbell
Jon Carter
Terry Price

Martin having a good local too which is pretty big.

Martin didn't have a good local until after he quit, hence why we rode all those home made kickers and spines and stuff.

The scene in the UK is really bad, there's maybe 20-30 decent riders, and a couple thousand little kids, so marketing here is important for big companies.

Team MGP includes Coedie, Twan, Benj, Ryan Williams, Terry etc. then I guess they ran out of people for the UK and put us on. I feel pretty shitty cause I know I don't deserve it, but I'm not complaining, still stoked on a good sponsor like that.

you guys also need to remember that because of the lack of decent riders, the standards for being 'a pro' are not as highas yours.
ben and josh are both part of that '20-30 decent' group, and are heavily respected in the uk.
because there are less riders in the uk, the standards are lower.

All you UK guys need to stop whining about how you have so few parks and such bad weather. If you wanted to, you could make it happen. Ever seen Tomorrow We Work? Some of the best street is from UK riders. I'm not saying all of you guys, but the last couple times I've seen a UK Razor rider, it's been nothing special at all, and JDBen has come in crying about your poor weather.
