Its really your choice, but i would say yes. It would make you look like a tool if your ride wees and cant whip. go ahead and get bmx grips and griptape, but the nice stuff (one piece bars, metalcores, etc.) should probably wait until later. just my 2 cents.

i remember when back in the day like 2 years ago when cory mosbrcuer made rad bars..he made them usually 15" wide..and people thought they were TOOOO wide...hahaha..not NO ONE rides like anything less than 18's in woodinville..
