I've been on this SR since the beginning, and I believe I was the one of the first after Stan to have 20 wide, so yeah.

i ride 15s. i hate stock... i cant ride it anymore. i never really liked it that much in the first place. 15 should be stock. 13 is too cramped.

Love stock. no reason why not to. i think big bars make scooters look ridiculous, jes my opinion though. <33 (there wasnt meant to be any offense there so dont blow up on my ass)

ya i agree if its over 18 but around 15-18 is perfect, its around shoulder length

I think for most people 18/19 is the widest you should go, or if you're tall/broad shouldered, then maybe 20's are acceptable. I don't think it should really be over or under shoulder width too much imo. But if you have wide bars and you cannot barspin with them, then that's pretty dumb. That's where the trendiness comes into play..

I was looking at a tube to make my bars longer before online. For 16"s it was like $17.27 with a 7/8s OD and 5/8 ID. I thinks thats reasonable, so I might ask my dad about it since I have to get new grips. I was going to be like, "Dad I need new grips. I really like these Fit grips. It'd be really cool if I could ride wider bars too, 13"s are like hurting my shoulders. I was thinking 16"s. *insert showing grips on Dan's and crossbar online*" Then my Dad should say "Sure thing Josh. Let's order them both now. And here's 20 bucks because I'm feeling good." Last part, I wish.

I think there's nothing wrong with 20" bars, obviously since I ride them, but also because they fit right for some people. For me my arms are straight down when I hold them. Stan rides 22" or bigger bars, but he's also seven feet tall and his bars are like 26". I know a lot of the time it is trend, especially with Chode bars, but it's something you have to deal with. I know in bmx bars are getting bigger and bigger, some 9" tall and 30" wide, and that's a trend. For some people that width and height is necessary, but for a 14 year old, I doubt he'll need Grand Slams.

I got myself banned.
If i didn't get my RADs 15 and 13 instead, i probably would have stayed at 13. I switched back to stocks at one point for like a month, but wides feel way better.

yeah, i think 15's are the perfect size for a stock scooter. i currently ride 15s but might move up to 17s soon... not because of the trend but because i think they would be better for my riding..
