i was just testing out to see if i could make a vid i know the footage is bad but yea i just wanted to test the cam idk what the problem is but on imovie the video is super clear but when i upload to youtube on hd its not as clear but clear and its a little jumpy. is it better to upload hd videos to vimeo or youtube??

and the camera if your wondering is a hv 40

I used to like using vimeo but I switched to youtube, the HD results from youtube seem to make my videos look a lot clearer and better quality than on vimeo, but eithers fine.
nice clear footage tho

Im sure you just have HQ on videos that haven't been filmed in HD or that haven't been exported from editing in HD opposed to HD where the video has been filmed in HD or has been exported from editing in HD.

ooh yea thats what i have its filmed in 1080i hd and yea what u said lol

now that i got the test done now im ready to just make my own mini vid =]

This is an HV 40. The quality should be alot better. Try using manual white balance, and messing around with the quality. Im pretty sure that was NOT 1080i.

yea i know when i upload it its downgrades to 720 p i need to get a sony vegas or premire my dad said he wants to just buy either program for full price cus he doesnt wanna mess it up downloading it for free
