I was just wondering what you guys thought about the bible like if your think everything in it is true and all that good stuff. Me and a lot of people I know have been debating whether the bible is true or not and the majority of us (including me) are convinced it's complete bullshit. Your Input?

complete bullshit is pushing it.
alot of the bible is true and has been proven true.
moses and the exodus, proven plausible if not confirmed.
jesus, proven to have existed.
many more things have been proven true also.
but after saying that, alot of things in the bible are embelished. alot of it can be proven with science, which questions the religious standpoint of it, but doesn't mean that it never happened.
i'll leave it at that since i'm sure most of you don't care enough to spend half an hour reading my thoughts, and in addition to that i dont feel like writing them our for half an hour

I believe the bible isn't true, but more of fables, just to help you live your life better. It doesn't matter anyways because I'm not really christian.
edit - yeah like sean said about stuff being proven, i mean like noahs are and shit, yeah right haha. i don't believe in any of that at all, and i really doubt ill ever read the bible or study it because i don't care about it at all. what i believe in is totally different haha.

not real ppl just made it to create some kind of order on man kind is my opinion
it will all come true and if you don't believe it you will be sorry when he comes to earth or you meet him in heaven. he makes your life a lot better and gives you guidance, and you are never alone if you have him. he is cool!!!! (God) haha

yeah. i went to a christian school for like ???? 10 years then moved to a publix school and everything changed for me.
yes alot of the things in the bible arent true like SOME stories and things like how the universe was created, but it does have good things to live by (morals). i mean yeah, its bad if we "sin" and such but doesnt mean like we go to some place with a dude that tortures us or whatever. sayings its complete bullshit is COMPLETLY wrong. if everyone read and listebed to what it said then wede have a perfect world

I got myself banned.
I went to catholic school for 12 years... the bible may be a book of true stories but i don't live by it. I don't really believe in god, and i don't really know what to believe in though.

Very few things in the bible, like for example the historical content describing the story of the Israelites in the ancient times, should be understood literally. That's why some of you are like 'bible is bullshit'.

Haha have you ever read any part of the bible??? Its not about morals at all. Its the stories of how everything was back then and how jesus died for our sins and everything. Well im a christian so i have a bible and everything.. i used to read a little bit of it every night but i dont that much anymore and i want to start reading it again more often..
