The difference

Sorry alex for making another one but what do you mean by triangle gussets?

The one Cody Ferner is selling has no gussets

You weld the triangle shaped guessets to the back of the fork on the legs and the crown bit that holds the legs on.

Ya I know that but what I want to know is the difference between the sr v2 and v2.2 forks

Alex said it's the gussets but I haven't seen a v2.2 with them

I own SR.
SR Forks:

- Threaded 110mm
- Threaded 125mm
- Threadless v1 (thin fork tube w/ MIG welds ground flush which bent and cracked)
- Threadless v2 (thicker fork tube w/ MIG welds ground flush, did not bend but still cracked)
- Threadless v2.2 (thicker fork tube w/ flush TIG welds, strongest SR fork available to public)
- Threadless v2.3 (same as the v2.2 but with triangle gussets on the back of the legs, made for team members or other people modded their v2-2.2)

(all the threadless forks were made in 110mm and 125mm)

A lot of the forks floating around these days are not original. They were either broken threaded forks or broken/rebuilt v1-2 forks so you need to be careful when buying these and make sure the person who rebuilt them knew exactly what they were doing. If they are rebuilt properly they are still good forks.
