Old stuff is better than new, im only judging from Ghostship Part I though. I hate how he is moving away from screaming. Fall of Troy was meant to scream more than sing.

yea definitely, but the new songs are still good

I really like the new Part 2.

The new part 1 is a joke, Original Ghostship 1 is the best Fall of Troy song.

Part 3 is alright.

Part 4/5, they're pretty good, but nowhere near as good as the old ones.

Edit - Matt, what you said about them screaming is true. I know where Erak wants to take the band and take himself vocally but his voice just isn't good enough to carry them there.

i love the new phantom on the horizon, i think it's much better than ghostship.

it's not THAT much different, but they definitely took it in a more prog direction than the post-hardocre they used to be, and to me thats great.

i just downloaded it earlier. gonna listen to it now, ill post my review when its over. as of right now, Ghostship > everything else.

Track 1: Ghostship > POTH
Track 2: Ghostship < POTH
Track 3: ... is pretty good.
Track 4: Ghostship > POTH
Track 5: Would be good if there was less singing.

After a couple days this is my conclusion:

I really like Track 1, not as good as the original but its not bad at all.
I like track 2 original better, POTH just has way better quality.
Track 3 was pretty good, actually really good.
I LOVED track 4, and the ending to it. taking out the fast screaming was a disappointment but the new stuff is really soothing
Track 5 honestly depressed me. Ghostship was wayyy better than POTH

Love the album reguardless.

Ah, I just listened too it. It was a great album, but the Ghostship demos will always be my personal favorite.

After all, it's what my display name is named after!

listening to this right now, and i still don't get how people aren't into it. to me, it's only gotten better with the more i've listened to it. i don't know how to really explain it, but there's a new "groovy" kind of factor they added into it. the hyper guitars and heavy parts are still there, but now there are parts where it just flows so great.

if you wrote this off already, i suggest you give it another listen.

New album coming out in October 6. Called "In the Unlikely Event". Here is a song off it called Panic Attack: http://www.youtube.com

Rody Walker from Protest the Hero is doing guests vocals on one of the songs!

I think October 6 is gonna be an amazing day. In The Unlikely Event + BLT3! So excited =]

Talking about new track, Panic Attack, I didn't enjoyed it too much. It lacks original TFOT's "raw power". But seeing live versions of "nobody's perfect", "single" and some other stuff makes this album one of the most expectable things of this autumn for me
