im 5'10 i dont like the seat to high and it had the foot things i took em off though
^ Bike swaps, bike shops, the internet. Lots of bike shops will have a bargain bin or something like that with old/used parts.

^ Try riding a road bike after a fixed gear. When I do a ride on my roadie after riding my fixed gear it's like I just got onto a rocket ship. But I still like riding off road and jumping my fixed gear. And whip skidz.
Please, for the sake of your knees, raise your seat up. If you're riding any distances you'll regret slamming your seat. I wouldn't make a big deal about this unless it actually was a big deal, and it really is. I'm 5'7" and my bike up there is a 54 with more post showing that yours. Not to mention you'll be able to pedal more efficiently and transfer power better.

My fixed gear is just heavy (it's steel), has fat tires with a lot of rolling resistance, and is so upright that it's not aero at all. My road bike is probably 5lbs lighter with skinny tires, gears, and a way more aggressive riding position. And clipless pedals and spandex.

$100 Flip-flop from Wal-Mart
For me, who spends most of his time scootering, I feel like this might be a fun little something to do on the side, especially for so cheap. I've got a mid-70's Motobecane Mirage project bike sitting around, so I may strip the forks on that, then swap the forks and the drop bars from the Mirage to that. Easier and cheaper than restoring the Mirage back to rideable condition and swapping it to a fixie from a 21-speed.

nah its got a flip flop hub so right now its a free wheel no need for the foot stuff, my bf cant ride it with the actual fixed part lol
