My bike was like $600 new, and I've put prolly a hundie into it with the stem, bars, seat and seatpost. Also spent like $50 on lights but I got the clips and straps for free.

Taylor's was $700 new, Reid's was like $900 new.

These bikes are all just too gnarly.

All made by the same dude, the last one he shortened, put new dropouts on, and made the paint/rust look like that. So legit.

Ryan, don't say fixie, it's looked down upon.

I really like that last bike, that's sorta what I'm trying to go for with my bike, kinda weathered and really used, but I don't wanna take any sandpaper to it. Bike racks are helping me enough with that.

Alex, if you ever come to the bay for a couple days, I could acid dip your bike to get that raw look.

Haha, alright. I'm kinda thinking of rawing it and since it's aluminum I won't have to clearcoat it, but then I'd have to take it all apart. So I'm kinda meh on that.

you'd still be better off clearcoating it... if you leave aluminum raw, it gets all dull and gross looking. my steertube got all gross, so i sanded it and clearcoated it and its still shiny.

Yeah I'd say leave the color, maybe see if you can polish it up or at least clean it some. Gotta get some drops on that though, for sure.

Thanks guys, I haven't really done much to it since i got it a few months back apart from taking the cranks apart and regreasing everything. The frames a good fit for me and its a nice riding position.Yeah i might get some drop bars for it and definately some new cranks as the cottered ones that are on it wobble alot.
