Talked to the local shop owner today he said the Pinarello's way too expensive and showed me a cromoly track frame he made its really cool. My friend might get it.
So I'm just going keep my bike as it is, it doesnt look oldschool and all but it rides real well.

And Alex I found the origin of my frame and its weird dropouts. That frame was designed by a local velodromo racing team along with Monaco (Brazilian bike company) and thats what they came up with, but velodrome racing has been cut off the pro circuit and the shop owner told the velodrome now looks like a cross country trail, full of holes... and thats why he sold the bike.

I'm keeping it but I want to put an old school stem on it.
Today we rode to a near city, 50km round trip and it was so good, even tough I didnt get the seat positioning quite right yet, its just great, just me and my friend riding on the open road.
And his ghetto conversion handled it really well.

Can someone link me to an awesome 3 minuteish fixed gear video?
I wanna see some legit stuff :)

^It was, and i only did half of it cause my knee was bothering me and this guy on our team needed to use some pedals, and i let him use mine, works out.

I need some good pedals with metal toe clips and preferably double straps under $100 any suggestions? I was looking on ebay but I cant find any complete sets with double straps and if I order it all separately shipping rapes me.

Realised that, ordered singles straps and will see how it goes, my tie clips are plastic and very flimsy, with a metal toe clip a single strap should be enough. This is what I ordered:

Looks good, the leather cover on the clips looks sweet. Are those straps are rubber/plastic deal? If so, that's what mine are too.

Good deal.

I normally don't like risers, but this Langster is sweet. The dark green/brown is a sweet color combo, and the picture helps. Now if only it didn't have that white chain

i went through this whole topic and i really wanna get into fixed gear. i got a 21 speed mountain bike and old schwinn road bike i am restoring and one of these would be sick to have.... where do i start?

With the Schwinn, basically strip all the gear stuff off, derailleurs, cables, shift levers, all that stuff. You'll probably wanna take off the back brake, but by all means, leave the front brake. After that, you'd probably be best off to buy a new back wheel (or wheelset) that's fixed gear, and you'll be good.
