i've never seen a bike not locked up in philly

but that's probably because if you leave a bike outside not locked up it will literally be gone in minutes.

Soo my friend tried skidding with straps for the first taime last night and when he came to a stop realised that he couldnt get his foot out and fell over sideways and ended up landing on my back wheel

new rim here I come!

I'd go with either wellgo or MKS pedals, and MKS clips they arent terribly expensive and work really well. As for straps I dont much, look for one that wont stretch alot, I have some Lapize laminated vinyl straps and they are good.
