So i'm thinking about getting one of these because they're pretty cheap, and any bike i bring to college next year is gonna get trashed and rusty. I'm still looking on craigslist for some godly deal though, but what do you guys think about that link?

Yeah thats basically exactly what i thought. I'm still gonna keep checking craigslist for a while though. I'm like 6-6'1, is 58 a good size or should i go ahead and get the next size up?

Edit: and should i go with an alloy or a chromoly frame?

So... I was riding with a friend saturday going down this street, going thru cars when this lady suddenly realised she had to turn right and she was on the left side of the road, so without giving any signal or looking in the mirror she switches lanes right in front of me... hit the car face first, my friend almost ran over me and was lucky enough to leave with just a scratched knee and some stitches on my nose( wich I dont know how I didnt fracture, and my whole body aching.
If it was for my helmet, it would've been ugly it was one nasty hit... ruined my weekend.

Be carefull everyone and always wear a helmet. Drive dont give a fuck about your safety so you should do so.

That sucks dude, didn't you already have a close call?

Spencer, I'm not totally sure but I think a 58 would be alright. Just go to a bike shop and have them size you up.

Close calls are daily here, traffic here is insane... the word respect has vanished long ago.

Anyways, I went riding today and got some new spoke cards printed since I dont own a working printer anymore.

And some parts on my bike were updated since last picture:
Rear tire ( dont really like the color but thats all they had on stock the day I bought it)
And new pedals/clips/straps

The yellow one with the guy on a bike says: Respect, one less car.
And the other yellow one says: Assume the position.

Why cant I do those skip stops. Not the fishtail one, just kinda the casual way to stop where the wheel skids for a split second, slowing you down.

A couple new things.

Some foot retention, a new seat, and a new card.

I bought a new pair of MKS pedals but they wont fit my current cranks.. pisses me off
