and a lot more expensive. HIC = normally included with set up/bars
SCS - tack on 70 bucks to your scooter.

Im running scs cause FD sent me standard bars, even though I ordered HIC bars back around christmas. I got the scs for $40 off of a friend, Im contenet with it.

Im working on getting HIC for my spare set up.

this is in Australian dollars but any ways

random example

Phoenix bars - $119
Proto SCS - $85
Proto stricker forks - $90

Total - $294

Phoenix HIC bars - $179
Proto stricker forks - $90

Total - $269

and SCS comes to a gran total of $35 more then HIC, not much at all and i would rather SCS so there is no slit in your bars so no week point in your bars as well. I also find that SCS stays tighter for longer and is a lot stronger then HIC, all in all SCS is worth the extra $35.

random example

Zero gravity drop V's - $110
Proto SCS - $85
Proto striker forks - $90

Total - $285

Zero gravity Drop V's oversized - $110
Proto striker forks - $90

Total - $200

If I would have done it with bars of the same price oversized or not, my point would've been proven MUCH better. As you can see, with zero gravity bars Proto SCS comes to a grand total of $85 more. Worth it? Naw.
I'm pretty sure-ish that this would make more sense.

scs is better, i had hic and had nothing but problems with it, and i never touch my scs and i only have 2 bolts in, AND compression coming loose has nothing to do with the compression, its the bolts you use, someone can prove me wrong on that one, but HIC sucks ass compared to scs

Okay, HIC's light. I run HIC also.
But I'd rather have an SCS.
It's the safest and best way to ride.
HIC has a slit, which is a weak point, even if you have your clamp over the slit.
When your bars snap, which they will, you'll be saying how you can run a SCS with them because they wont have a slit anymore :)

why would u want to put a big ugly block and your scooter when u could use HIC and if u snap bars u snap bars with or without slit u will still break bars

Proto SCS looks abit iffy but not baby scs phoenix or apex they all look super clean and i would feel a lot safer if my bars didnt have a slit in them = a week point
