I havent seen any threads on these dudes yet.

Mad trippy, jazzy, pyshicadelic rock. Its so amazing. Thomas prigden is seriously one of the most amazing drummers ive ever heard/seen. hes so absolutely incredible.

If youve never heard these guys give em a listen, but be prepared, there songs are all really obnoxiously long. Some are upwards of 16 minutes.

YEEEEES <3<3<3<3 Just got into them not too long ago. I have The Bedlam in Goliath and im LOVIN it. Cedric's a beast singer. Omars a fuckin sick guitarist. The drummer's insane. they're just freakin amazing.

Wow, I already made this thread forever ago, and everyone hated them! But noooooo, now that Bedlam is out, everrrrryyyone loves them! Man its so annoying! And sadly I'm not a fan of Pridgen, he cant recreate the style that I heard in deloused, amputechture and Frances! I mean he's amazing at drumming, but he doesnt flow with all the old stuff! The Volta had to change so much to work with him! I really prefer Theodore, and the origional sound they produced.

well i've liked them since before bedlam came out and i would have to agree with you in certain respects

pridgen definitely owns bedlam with the intensity i mean its a different sort of album from deloused and francis which were somewhat calmer but he fits so well with the more hectic loud sound they had on this one

i definitely prefer theodore's drumming though its so much more varied and smoother, i absolutely love his style especially on eriatarka and viscera eyes

pridgen definitely doesnt play the old stuff nearly the same though, you're right about that he just can't seem to chill when they're just jamming live

I hated the album with frances the mute on. missing chromosone or whatever.

pridgen is great in some aspects and worse in others.

Doesnt matter what album it is though, all of their drummers have been amazing. they all really shred. But they have had different styles.

yer man pretty sik my mate is like mega obsessed wif them. i love it how they sing in like different languages and shit sounds sik.
