i started riding about the same time as martin, a long time ago. back then scootering was nothing. if you think there isnt much exposure now, you shouldve been around back then. martin was this kid that basically looked like a loser. his tricks were all really weird and he looked like that lame 11 yr old kid you see riding around the skatepark on rollerblades. he had a lame website like alot of you do now with lots of pointless stuff on it. he edited videos so it looked like he was jumping over himself, through fire, off a plastic ramp, with another version of himself in the background.

that was probably 5 or 6 years ago. now martins one of the best riders in the sport. he listens to the fall of troy and has got some crazy long hair, and basically doesnt look like a kid that should be playing video games 24/7. hes got better tricks than you and does them with a hell of alot more style. hes got a factory sponsor, and actually gets stuff for riding.

as much as this sounds like it, it isnt stating how much i love martin. its trying to give you kids out there, most of you who honestly suck and are totally unoriginal, a reason to keep riding. if you stick with it youre gonna get alot better, and so will the sport in general. so just keep riding, make sure youre having fun, and hopefully someday youll be in the spot martin is now.

I think steven t is also one of the greatest guys on this forum, hes really funny and has great style, but so many riders onhere i just love, matt ogle is insane and i love riding with him, terry price, kc corning, martin, so much talent.

Thanks Dan, im in total Agreement with Sean and Fro, Fro has made some really good posts in his time, and Seans post was really good to read...brought back good memories...and put out a good message.

yeaaa i remember kickboarderuk...first site i ever went too, thats what got me into scootering, i remember his like nothing barspin and double whips were crazy to me back then. I <3 you marty :)

very few people here have been around this long. i do remember downloading martins videos. he used to have the piece of wood he would jump off of in his backyard. martin, you are a great rider and keep up with the steez you are bringing to the table.

haha dude ive been around so long and rememeber all that stuff this new years its gonna be year 6 for me wow thats a long time haha Martin was like crazy back then just like ali those guys were my heroes haha maritn was on the top back then and he still i s now with his like front scoot flip tailwhips flat and crazy stuff i prob couldnt even do into a foampit
