These bands are looking for exposure. Shot Down In Number 9 are all friends of mine from here in Westfield, NY. They are Hardcore/Hardcore/Hardcore according to their myspace. The Kansas City Massacre is a hardcore band out of Erie, PA. Both have myspaces and a video for you to check out. I will be updating this thread frequently as i enjoy going to the shows and filming.

No offense to them or anything but they need to get either a new amp for their guitarist, or tell him to change that annoying distortion effect that he has on. The singing (or should I say screaming like nobody has ever screamed before) is just a bit overboard IMO. The drumming is decent though. I'm probably a bit biased against this kind of music because I don't particularily enjoy things this hardcore, so what do I know...

I'll pass along your advice to them and keep checking back for that video.. the show is saturday night.

i honestly hated it :( sorry matt, and i like screaming stuff usually.
and there last song on there myspace is just HORRIBLE
hopefully they are better live as u say

The show wasn't that good... the guitarist (ryan) broke 2 strings and Jimmy broke his strap. The first song in their myspace profile i liked a lot live.

the whole show overall was amazing. Some of the bands i heard:

haha i got shitload of pictures and 40 minutes of footage. Alot of Kansas City Massacre (up on stage with them) and all of my friends SDIN9... So ill post that up probably tomorrow. It was a good local show. All of those bands are on myspace too check them out.

was it Hand To Hand? i remember listening to them years ago and they were soooo good.
