Bumping a old thread. Did anyone ever write up a DIY for a snow scooter yet? I think I'm gonna be building one here in the next couple of weeks. I heard when you cut ski's they tend to peal. Has amyone used anything else?

for good skiis that i used underneath my snow scooter i took them off my old burton snowdeck, there really good. and snowscooters are the best in canada

brody do you have any pics of your snow scooter? I heard that ski's are to narrow. Im looking for a old kids snowboard, i found one that is 8 inches wide. idk if thats to wide or not. I could just use a regular ski in front and a snowboard in the rear.

i will post pics when i get everything nice and smooth for riding, but on zumiez you can buy snowdecks one witht he skiis underneath) and just cut the ski for front and back

I didn't think tsi was going to follow through and make a snow scooter. Got anymore pics? This gives me some ideas for my design
