Hi all,

As we move into a new category for the Fuzion brand with the upcoming Elite, we are proud to announce that we will once again be sponsoring a Pro and Flow team shortly. We will post information and requirements in the next week or two so keep up with us here or on our Facebook fan page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Fuzion/205229219495051

More importantly, we'd like to announce that Nate Grant will be our team manager and main contact for any team related questions or comments. We've worked with Nate over the past 3-4 years on and off and his more recent involvement has been crucial in helping us to develop a complete entry level competition scooter and what will be the new structure for the 2011 team. With his first hand experience and knowledge with pro level scooters and the community as a whole, in conjunction with Fuzion we WILL develop products and a team that will penetrate the masses and grow the sport of freestyle scootering as a whole.

We are not an aftermarket company and do not currently intend to compete against the well established and helpful companies that you all are familiar with. Rather we are aiming to use our expertise in mass manufacturing and ability to reach the general public to help bring in new riders, new companies and new brands into the mix to give this community the recognition it deserves. Through Nate and our future team riders (as well as this community) we really hope to take what you want into consideration for the development of future products and to generate creative ideas that will help to capture new audiences.

Keep updated as we will announce more team news shortly and we look forward to everyone's input and comments.

Edit: Here is the application process. Please follow the instructions and good luck!

Please follow these simple instructions to apply for a spot on the team:

3. Fill out and return this completed form via email or private message on Facebook. Copying and pasting the text into the body of an email is ok. Please send to team@nextsport.com.

There are no other positions filled other than the TM at this moment. Our testers are merely that and our previous team riders will have a shot at being on the team again however we want to open up submissions to everyone to start (relatively) fresh.

More details to come.

Grit uses the same factory as Nextsport. However Nextsport is the main company, like how in cars Toyota is the main company, with other mini-companies under it like Scion.

Nextsport took the grit scooter as a basic design and made improvements on it based on Nate, Ryan, and my own reviews (among others?).

before i start saying "you copied grit scooters" and shit im gonna ask, do you guys have any association with Grit scooters in aus?

it is also called the ELITE http://www.activeoutthere.com.au/products/Grit-Elite-Scooter-BLACK.html

Grit have been around for a decent 1-2 years now aswell.

Yes we do and actually we've worked with the owners prior to them releasing the Grit items. It just so happened that they're both called the Elite- when we saw the first samples awhile back our marketing team did not realize it was actually called the Grit Elite before they named it the Elite. Not an issue however since we will not be selling our Elite in AUS. :)

And not to mention ONLY Fuzion Elites will feature a flex brake, 110mm 90a metalcore wheels, a threadless fork and 81.5° HTA.

This is correct. First production completes will be seen at CooterCon.

I'd like to be on. But it's cool if I'm not. Unsponsored = less responsorabilities.
