the only reason people bought madd scooters was for the brakes.

coedie donovan introduced the footjam to scooters and everybody shat their pants.

Technical Difficulties came out and it was just a video of jordan jasa, nate grant, spencer steed, and dan gutendorf all riding in their driveways. and it was actually pretty enjoyable haha.

Dont forget jamming pipes and old handlebars in your fork tubes.
And when cutting stock brakes was almost as cool as having a blade brake.

I lurked for awhile before I actually made an account and I probably spent all my free time just looking online for cheap metal core wheels and wheels that weren't discovered yet

This was before my time but sr sounded like such a sick place when it was smaller

Thats kinda how it is, the bigger something is the higher the chance you will have idiots or attention whores lurking amongst us.

SR was a small community of friends more than anything, no bull----- Memes didn't exist and 12 year olds didn't have a super internet tough guy persona behind the screen.

We all just really liked each other and this little thing called a scooter.

EDIT: Not to say SR is unbearable now cause it's really not that bad but it is sure a shadow of it's former self in terms of atmosphere
