i made some out of a few layers of steel piping. http://www.flickr.com/photos/43975776@N08/4638192777/
It is pretty long. its about 80cm long including the washers and nuts. i've made a back one thats 5.5cm long with the washers and nuts. I used a tube of aluminium around the bolt because i couldn't find anything else that fitted and then i put some steel tubing around that and then put a few washers on and tightened it with some nuts i'll try to get some pictures of all the stuff i used to make it.

well turnings crap so fakies are out of the question unless i don't swerve and it hardly scrapes across the deck when you do tailwhips but its a lot easier to stall. I might make another pair but completely out of steel so if anyone wants to try them out and see how long they last i'll make you some coz i'm not that heavy duty and i want to see how long they last, how long most people like them to be and how good they are at grinding. i don't grind that much and i weigh about 52kg so i don't think i'll bend them soon. wow that was a long post

haha yeh i might just do that. might make a pair tomorrow. pm me the size you want and i'll see if i have enough materials. is it ok that if i don't have enough steel i can use aluminium for the middle bit oh i might not have enough bolts too. oh well i'll check and get back to u tomorrow

step 1:get some 15mm solid steel tubing at like 5cm long
step 2:drill through one side 4cm deep with an 8mm drill peice
step 3:eek:n the other side drill the rest of the way through with a 5mm
step 4:get two bolts like the double clamps
step 5:put the bolt through the 8mm side so it comes out the other side then screw it into you axle as usual
