if you break a pro model deck, reinforce it. seriously, go with the dominator reinforcments or a pair of steadmans. honestly i paid 15 bucks for a slightly cracked pro model deck last year, and i think i paid alex like 25 for the reinforcements, and its still perfect. i've been riding it for over a year.

2007 pros were great!
2008 pros were not as good
2009 pros are the worst fucking thing ive ever ridden
^yup
and on the topic of your main post why are you refering to a skateboard deck when it's aluminum construction is closer to a bmx frame. Bmx'ers have such good parts now they never brake. i asked around and found out people usually spend more money upgrading parts that replacing old one cuase they are broken. TSI got it right though.

i think Andrew has picked up on this.I predict he will make a deck that still has a separate head tube and three holes in the deck for bolts :)

I think it's stupid that people should have to reinforce decks... conor I agree with you but if we're comparing them to skateboard decks, why the hell would we have to reinforce them? I love the feel of pro decks, but I'm not a fan of their durability. I'm all for one piece decks, since my headtube/folding mech never stay silent and completely tight, and if andrew made a pro deck inspired one piece I would be a happy man

The only thing I would have changed. Because they didn't really come to us about design features this time. They basically took the designs they didn't use in the first Pro Model and threw together a scooter without our knowledge.

One thing I would have changed... Internal headsets. Why? Because if these decks do snap at all, you'd have to take your headset cups out from each deck and put it in a new one. I've been trying to get them to make internal headsets for so long now. This would have been the perfect scooter to do this on.

Aside from that, all the features are pretty much standard, and have always looked fine. If you do buy the new Pro Models. Just to be safe, or until given reason not to. I'd suggest deck savers or reinforcements so that you won't have to stress so much on the headset cups.

ok put it this way guys the new decks are a piece of shit i got my first one the day before hyphy jam and i rode it with scooterzone reinforcements and still BENT THE DECK THE FIRST DAY I RODE IT
ask anyone who was there i didnt do shit that day except a few tricks off a 6 stair
so yea piece of shit
