can you even do these tricks with your wide bars Lewis??:

x-up
barspin
tailwhip
double tailwhip
fingerwhip
truckdriver
360 whip
or even frontscooterflip
or briflip???

if you cant do half of these... you do not have enough experience or your bars are way to wide and not tall enough!!!

Im riding 20x17.
So its all good.
Riding wider than you are high is ultimately going to screw your back up
Because you have to be riding 17/18 high to ride wider than heigh. unless your riding 20 high and 23 wide.....
Which looks like the dorkiest thing on a scooter ever.

His bars aren't too wide
He's just short :p

thank you, thank you, thank you. this trend is stupid, scooters with bars wider than they are tall just look dumb. and their riding looks gross too.

i bet if scooters originally had wide bars and then someone started using skinny bars kids would start switching, just to go with the trend.

i ride 17 wide 17.5 high is that bad??? i like wide bars cause it feels more natural, and i dont care what people say. i also switch to my stock bars every once in a while if i wanna do barspins ect...

im deff pushing this rule 18x18 lol

the only thing i hate more then chode bars is when little kids ride stock bars at nip height

lol, I hate seeing that too, it makes scooters look so stupid

Yeah, I agree with you. I ride 23 high, 20 wide, and its just not normal when your bars are wider then they are tall. I imagine you would look stupid riding.

fuck yeah! Alex KNOWS his shit, so listen to him carefully. Your bars should be wide enough so that you can do a tuck no hander and the bars stick out beside your legs just enough so you can grab the bars without grabbing a fistful of your pants at the same time (lowest I'd go for that is 18's). And, furthermore, most of the time when your bars are wider than they are tall, then you are small enough for the tuck no hander rule (see above) to apply with smaller bars..

edit: Lewis, WTF????? how in the fuck can you ride 13 HIGH bars???? That's the width of fuckin stock handlebars, and those are small as fuck..

I ride 20 wide 21 high and i can still do most of the tricks i could do with 16s. but i suck so its not much.

its not "trend" to ride wide bars, theres a reason for ridding wide bars
+turn downs look better
+more control
+easier tuck no handers

but i do agree at some extent, the height of your bars needs to be some what close to the width

ps. i ride 18 high 20 wide <3
