The Rule of Chode

Both you two, stop that nonsense language. You dissagree but don't go around cussing because of it. Read both mine and Alex's posts and you'll see what this thread is about. It's DEF. not about telling people off because they ride different. Just a good rider's opinion/point of view on bars heights and lengths.

anyway, the wider your bars are, the more they will bend. so I dont see any point in having any more than 20s, because scooters are not logically designed to go that big. I you do go over that limit, it will probably cause problems with the bending/breaking of the bars. so best advice you can get, is to go with your shoulder width.

i ride 15s and they feel just right.

But i do agree that bars that are wider than they should be just makes your riding worse the wider you go
and makes you look rediculous of your a shorter person.

20/19.5 highand 16 wide. I'm 6 feet tall and i'm skinny but 16 wide is perfect. i can't see how any 12 year old that is 5 times less developed than me can ride 20 wides. It does make you look retarted so don't do it. it dosen't help your riding either.

i like wide bars...to me they give you more control when you ride....i tried small bars and too hard...haha....plus they more comfortable...i think i ride 20" by 18"wide??? im 5'4 and have bars 3 inches above knees....so idk???stock t'tube stuff.....

but ya...nething over 20 is huge...you either have to be tall or muscular...haha.....cuz i cant see how you spin those around or nehting....

Well I've always rode 19high, I'm really comfortable with that height.
I used to ride 14 wide Ride Bars until i broke them, and i decided to try 20's wide.

Still riding with 20 wide and 19 high, I find that fine.

And I'm like 5"8

When i broke my other 20 wide bars, i went to stock for a little bit and thats how i dislocated my shoulder being too used to the 20's, so now basically im stuck on them

imagine if someone had Bmx Bars on a scooter hha!
My little bro did it, It's part of what wrecked the scooter. He also put neon lights under it. He's a flipping retarded genius.

Dakota was riding mini bmx bars on his scoot using a cut down buff tube.

alex im with you for the most part.

usually i think people should ride what feels right and learn for themselves, but when i see little kids riding 20s its sort of rediculous..
and alot of kids are starting to get into the trend, you would never see stuff like this a year or two ago, and if you did they would at least get yelled at or something so they would change it and look normal.

if your having problems with like bar late whips and you cant do a bartwist im pretty sure you have bars that are too wide for you.

i have no problem with height though, danny warwick rides pretty low and hes a sick rider and eric rabl rides super high and has insane nose mannys.. so its all good there.

so for the kiddies who have the wider barziez at TIC, think about your riding in the long run, 20s feel nice in the beginning and you can get used to them, but you'll sacrifice alot of cool tricks that 20 wides can make extremly difficult in the long run.. Plus switching back to a smaller width is going to be a harder transition than it was getting used to them in the first place..

Ride what you want, but use your brain about it and make it reasonable so you can closely match the two and have fun riding while having
great looking style/easier tricks.

I ride 18 high by 16 wide and thats perfect for me, I can bar to whip. bar to bars and stuff so theres no problem. Stocks feel crap compared to wider.
