Not really, when NBS4 was released I was doing tricks no one else had at the time.. I don't want to hear your opinion on my level of riding, because you have nothing to show for yourself to have the right to say "Terry sucked", yes i know you were probably not trying to imply that I actually sucked and that I am better now.. but when I "joined the scene" I was still raising standards of scooter riding and where were you Pete?

Lol sorry if you feel offended, I was saying that basing on your minivid that you relased not long before NBS4, and except the backflip stuff, there was nothing really special in it (well maybe it was special at the moment of relasing it, but not today). Also I just wanted to say that in my opinion, when NBS4 was relased the NBS ppl were better than you.

Let's not ruin this thread too with the who is better than who jazz. We don't really care as long as everyone is riding and having fun doing it. Ricky didn't seem like he got enough appreciation for his efforts with the sport.
I still remember the first day I rode with Chris and Ricky. And it's a bummer to basically see Chris quit riding. We see Chris probably once every month on a scooter now, if we're lucky. Sadly, that's how shit goes. My thought process is obviously different. I don't see how someone could just quit riding when resources make it easier for them to do so. But oh well, that subject is a bit touchy so I'm off that now haha. Ricky contributed more than any other rider out there in my opinion, and still continues to do so. From putting in a good word for Chris and Ricky to get on Razor, every video I participated in (no matter how horrible the original videos used to be haha) I believe they deserved every single bit of it and I was glad to be apart of the series. From the random riding youngens they used to be to some of my greatest friends I have ever had. I am grateful for that and all of that was possible thanks to riding. All the trips around the country and the world, I have met a lot of great people that enjoy the passion of riding as I do. It's definetly a perk to riding is most of the people involved.

you no ive read some shit here but im thinking what ur trying to say is people are quiting scootering because its not a big scene so people are getting bored of doing something for nothing i no yous are all dedicated at scootering but most of us want something out of it instead of a mini vid tha tthe same people quote sick shit get better i meen if ive got the rong inpresion plz tell me but thats what i think half of youse are trying to say.

terrys exsactly right but while yous americans were pushing the sport terry was over here with martin kimbell and some other people on there own tryign there hardest not to get the sport out but for fun and hes there best rider in the world and hes from the uk witch isnt an easy place to scoot maye i say and hes just trying so hard then you go and give him no credit at all were hes just its un i can even describe how well hes done for us even thoe the sport over here isnt that big but hes doing this stuff for yous setting standards like he said.
You missed the point completely. My last post had nothing to do with Ricky's post, if you read the topic you would see that the topic moved onto other topics. What Ricky was saying, is that a lot of us set the standard and continue to do so yet there is no appreciation for it. And Ricky isn't saying this about only us at NBS. There are a handful of others I can list right now. We are dedicated and will remain that way til we can't ride anymore. And not everything you do must have something back in return. Isn't the fun of it all worth it?! Not everything is about getting money, and free product. It helps, but that's not why you start and it's not what fuels you to continue to do it.cycle said:
