probably scepters but im not sure how youre mtb bars will ride on them but you always have the scepter crosbars are a backup

The crossbar that comes with them IS a MTB bar. Not a DH bar specifically because it is a flat bar, but trust me, there would be no reason to swap it out. The crossbar it comes with retails for almost 50 bucks. I had mine for >6 months and no problems whatsoever. Scepters are awesome.

Would this be a good setup for a nub to learn on?

RUP deck

FSA PIG THREADLESS

INWARD VICTORY BARS (HIC) with Animal Edwin grips

INWARD TENEDOR THREADLESS WITH OFFSET

District double clamp ( ._. )

Two good ol' fashioned piece of crap orange (cause I'm a fruitcake =3) YAK scats.

It would be fine but why not just get an ultra pro? There's a good bit of maintenance with threadless compression if you want to keep it nice, especially with an unsealed headset.
