Can't really decide on my next deck. I've ridden an ethic artefact, aosv2, phoenix session, v2i, and phoenix reventon. Im not too fond of thresholds, so I guess my question is, what is left? I ride mostly street so I need a deck the slides well, but is also light.

I have 2 AOSV2's and they do rails and ledges pretty nice, theyre light too so theres no issue with weight whatsoever, they feel really solid too

My V2i has lasted me since 2012 and is still going strong AF, only small banana and cracks, but the grind rails and dropouts havent worn out yet at all and i do grind quite a bit

I recently got a Lindworm, its reallly nice i love it. grinds are pretty nice on it, its light, feels great to ride, whips so well. the only downsides are really just the brake, but i had a small ledge sesh (like 30 mins - 1 hour) on a waxed metal ledge and my FS side dropouts are already almost gone, dunno if it was cause i locked in alot or something else

Reventons feel alright, i have a friend who has the Jon Reyes sig and its mehhhh. kinda feels weighty, whips also feel odd for a bit at first. after a bit i did get used to it all, but i still find it a bit weird to ride cause of the feel haha. theyre waaay to pricey too

dunno what to choose out of them and ive never ridden the others, but yeah its up to you haha

have a threshold atm. kind of getting pissed because it always seems like something wrong with it, if its not the axles its the spacers, and if its not the spacers its the brake bolts. thinking about trading it for a lindworm. i like that its basically the same specs other than the bottom, drop outs, and grind rails but im just not sure. how are grinds on them compared to a threshold, or fingerwhips? thx in advance to anyone that helps me with this

my lindworm grinded really eh when i had my first ride on it, but it feels alot better after you wax it and after a few seshes, i find grinds really comfortable on it tbh. but my FS dropout is close to wearing out after barely using it haha

fingerwhips are fine on it, whips are really fast since the back is really light, so fingerwhips are easy to get down

never tried a thresh tbh but my friends getting one soon, but ethic is a reall responsive deck and i luv et

Currently riding a 20.5 flavor, my flav is tight but I am looking for something a bit different. I want either a thresh or ethic. pros and cons of both?

Ethic
light, good balance, grind rails make rails the easiest thing, but the dropouts aren't really strong and I have cracks on mine. Also it can bend in the middle if you weigh a lot and the brake breaks in 3 months depending on how much you use it.
Thresh
kinda light, good balance, grinds good, good brake, one of the highest priced decks on the market, but it's worth it.

Reventons are meh, a little to heavy, but the balance is amazing.

I love my ethic, but my next deck will be either a thresh or a hammerhead

Flavor awakening or ethic lindworm? I have ridden neither
flavor better for 5050s and has a flat bottom, so good for grinding but the lindworm isn't good with 5050s although they're possible but the grind rails are the best thing for grinding, I've ridden both. Price is kinda the same and the headtube design also, flavor has better brakes

With my experiences with both the decks, the Flavor has a more stable feel, kinda that TSI feel, the deck whips a bit slower, it's better with grinds thanks to the flat bottom, and it just feels a bit more "stable".

The ethic is super lightweight and feels more.... whip orientated? It whips super fast but doesnt grind as well. It doesn't really have that "I'm standing on a stable brick" feel that most flat decks have but it's still good.

The more I ride my flavor, the more I prefer it over a lindworm but it's really your choice.

So I was on a UA SCS for a while and I think its time for something new, what SCS would you guys recommend? Price isnt a problem but I will NOT ride a district or apex SCS.

Idk why I always see questions about scs's. Go Tilt or Proto, nuff said. I prefer Tilt though.
