Well I used gasoline for cleaning bearings and it works out very well, but its definately not a good lubricant.

Gasoline is a solvent or something like that. All it would do to the bearings is degrease them.

ya, gosoline is what you use to get oil spots out of your drive way. its better than most alchohol for cleaning your scoot though
