Threaded Bars on Threadless Forks

Hello guys I got a threadless headset and ics (but i dont use ics) and i want to buy threadless forks, but i have thread inside my bars and i have to screw them on to put it on my scooter, will i need new bars or will they fit threadless?

Your bars are not threaded. They just have an impression. A starnut should fit. What bars and forks are you runing?

Theres no such thing as threaded bars. You shouldnt screw them on you should just slide them on.

i got swish zero offset forks an yea you have to screw them on they are the old slamm rage version 1 bars.

yea they are a oversized bars and they are a bit thicker inside and you can feel the thread

they used to make threaded bars like 5 years ago when i started riding, but they soon found out that there was no need for them so they stopped making the. every thing should fit in the new forks

I doubt there were any bars made with threads inside:

Adds more work to making the bars and the tubing isn't even thick enough to cut worthwhile threads.

The Cross bar would not line up exactly straight/perpendicular to the Fork & wheel if they were threaded- damn near impossible to cut the threads so that everything lined up when screwed down on to the Fork tube.

The "Threads" that you see are actually just grooves from the Threaded forks
