threadless headset/threaded fork

i put it on and rode it for a day and it was fine but came loose so i tried taking it apart and tightening it. i could get the stock lock nut thing off but now the headset is stuck because the compressor ring thing that comes with the headset got like stuck on one of the threadss. i have no idea how to get it off, ideas?

Shouldn't have taken the nut off te fork. You need it with a threaded fork

i had it on.. i took it off to fix the headset
